Coli. Ezrin (aka cytovillin, villin-2) is a member of the ERM protein family (Ezrin, Radixin, Moesin). These act as cross-linkers between membrane proteins and the actin cytoskeleton. Ezrin interacts with NHERF, phospholipids, actin and CD44 and contains a N-terminal FERM domain that anchors the protein to the plasma membrane.
