| Tri-color Prestained Protein Ladder is designed for monitoring protein separation during SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, verification of Western transfer efficiency on membranes (PVDF, nylon, or nitrocellulose) and for approximating the size of proteins. The ladder contains one red band at 75 kDa and one green band at 25 k Da. The ladder is supplied in reducing gel loading buffer and ready to use. CONTENTS 0.25 ml dye-stained proteins in 20 mM Tris-H3PO4 (pH 7.5 at 25°C), 2% SDS, 1mM β–Mercaptoethanol, 3.6 M Urea, and 15% glycerol. LOADING GUIDE · 2-3 µl per loading for 17 or 15 well mini-PAGE gels; 4-5 µl for 12 or 10 well mini-PAGE gels. · 1.5-2.5 µl for general Western blot transfer. STORAGE Keep at -20 oC for long-term storage. |
